Talk about bringing people together for a great cause...
I spent many days trying to figure out how I could help Lisa in
2010. So, here it is...
I've created an online fundraiser for Lisa called "the gifts that give back."
With the help of over 200 generous people whom I refer to as "Lisa's
Angels," this idea was made possible. All the items were donated
by these amazing folks in efforts to raise money for Lisa. Phone call
after phone call and email after email, the response was "YES," I'd
be happy to help donate an item for Lisa. Remember, they have
never met Lisa but care enough to help anyway.
Basically, the idea is that anyone wanting to donate, gets an item
in return for their donation. You pick the amount you want to donate
by choosing an item for that amount.
There are over 200 incredible items with something for everyone.
Next time you need a special gift for someone, consider one of these
items - the gifts that give back!
I am extremely grateful to the people who donated items. From the West Coast to the East Coast and everywhere in between, your generosity is
simply amazing! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Most people hold a raffle or have a spaghetti dinner fundraiser, this is my version of that ... from 2,500 miles away!
